Junior Dressage Championships in S.Antonio, Italy

The approved dressage pony stallion Zitnas Da Vinci and his rider Xenia Schumann took part at the Junior Dressage Championships in S.Antonio,Italy, 1.-2.11.2008 and achieved an excellent 3rd place .
Zitnas Da Vinci is a former Zitna breeding stallion and halfbrother to European ponydressage champion Golden Dancer.

5 year old Zitnas Baribaldi (breeder Zitna stud, by Zitnas Bajazzo) and rider Xenia (aged 11 years) took also part at the dressage competition in S.Antonio and received good marks in the pony dressage classes level A (2nd and 5th place). They became 2nd in the finals of the dressage trophy level A.

Zitnas Daphne (breeder: Zitna stud) and her rider Katja Gluderer won the first qualification round of the Wintercup Ponydressage 2008/2009 level A and L that took place in Weikersdorf on 1.11.2008.

More results: Zitnas Daphne and Jatka Gluderer achieved a 5th rank at the finals of the Golden Pony Cup at the CDN-B Tillmitsch 2008. In 2007 Zitnas Daphne became Austrian national dressage team championship in the pony class with her former rider Jaqueline Toniutti.

Stallion performance test for German riding pony stallions 2008 in Munich.Germany

A son of Premium stallion Zitnas Dancer (out of a mare by Heros) was placed 2nd at the stallion performance test in Munich,Germany The test lasted 30 days from October to November 2008.

International horse show (dressage/pony) CDI-PJY in Babenhausen,Germany (12.-14.9.08)

Premium stallion Zitnas Dancer und rider Alexa Sultanow (Bavaria) participated successfully at the international horse show in Babenhausen,Germany.

Both absolved a very good routine and achieved an excellent 12th place in the Pony FEI test (team) as well as another 12th place in the Pony FEI test (indivual) competition. In the FEI team test 28 pony riders from Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Danemark and Italy took part including leading European pony riders.

Dancer and Alexa are members of the Bavarian pony dressage elite team (official team of the Bavarian riding association).

Italian National Championship Dressage /Ponies 2008: Zitnas Baribaldi (by Zitnas Bajazzo) placed

5 years old Zitnas Baribaldi (Breeder Zitna stud) was the youngest pony at the Italian National Championship Dressage / Ponies 2008. Zitnas Baribaldi and his 11 year old italian rider were placed 8th in the Pony FEI dressage tests.

Zitnas Baribaldi is a half-brother to Zitnas Black Jack (Participant at the German Federal Championships for young horses 2005 and currently placed in dressage classes in Austria) as well as of Zitnas Prosecco (also known als Lord Foxxx, winner of a bronce medal at the show jumping championships in deeper Austria 2007 and 2nd place at CSIP show jumping class in Italy)

Talented Youngsters and pony riders at the show jumping event in Lassee,Austria 17.-19.10.08

Riding pony mare Beyonce (aged 5 years, former owner Zitna stud,by Zitnas´s elite stallion Negro) achieved a 2nd and a 3rd place in pony show jumping classes level A as well as a 4th place in a pony show jumping class level L.

Winner of the two pony show jumping classes level L were Lisa Schranz and riding pony mare Nicola (reared by Zitna stud). Both also won the Pony Masters level L 2008.

Competing in the Pony Masters level A 2008 the 6 year old Zitnas Vermond (Breeder Zitna stud, by Zitna´s elite stallion Vento) and 9 year old rider Johanna Biber achieved a 3rd place followed by the 5 year old Zitnas Naomi (breeder Zitna stud, by Zitnas´s elite stallion Negro) on the 4th place.

Regional Dressage Championships of Burgenland 2008, Austria

Zitnas Black Jack (Breeder Zitna stud) und junior rider Marina Klann took part at dressage championship and achieved a bronce medal in the pony class.

Zitnas Black Jack took part as a 4 year old youngster at the “German Federal Championships for young horses 2005” in Germany ridden by a 12 year old girl. Meanwhile he found a new rider in Marina Klann and we are looking forward to their further participation at dressage competitions.

In Wolznach,Germany (8.-10.8.08) Night and Day and Julia won a pony dressage class level L and achieved a 4th place in a pony dressage class level A as well as a placement in a dressage class level L competing against senior riders.

Night and Day is an outstanding dressage talent that took part at the “German Federal Championship for Young Horses 2004 ” and finished the event on the 10th rank out of all German 4-year-old ponies. Night and Day and his rider Julia belong to the 2008 ponydressage team ot the Upper Bavarian Riding sport association.

At the dressage competition in Lamprechtshausen cat.A in Austria (9.-11.5.2008) Julia Lebe and Night and Day achieved outstanding results in classes up to Pony FEI Level.

Vivaldi (by Zitnas elite stallion Vento) and Stephanie Auinger: two gold medals and a silver medal at the dressage championships in Austria

At the dressage event in Nettingsdorf, Austria the riding pony gelding Vivaldi (by Zitnas Elite stallion Vento) and Stephanie Auinger became UNION champions 2008 / junior class.

Dressage Champion cat.pony of Upper Austria 2008: Vivaldi and Stephanie became the new 2008 Upper Austrian Champions in the pony class . They achieved excellent marks (7.5 and 7.3) in their classes.

Stephanie and her gelding Vivaldi won a silver medal and were awarded the vice-champion title at the junior championships that took place in St.Martin,26.-27.7.2008 . Another time they showed how successful ponies can compete against warmblood horses.

Don Joshi (reared at Zitna stud) achieved a number of placements in dressage classes up to Pony FEI level in Austria in 2008.

At the qualification event in Austria for the European Pony Championships 2008 Don Joshi achieved a 2nd place in the Pony FEI team competition test and 2nd place in the Pony FEI individual test. Don Joshi absolved good routines at national championships in 2008: he and his rider won a
bronce medal at the Pony dressage championships in deeper Austria 2008 and a second bronce medal at the Austrian federal dressage team championships for ponies 2008

Show jumping pony Zitnas Visible (breeder: Zitna stud) and his Austrian rider Anna Kletzmayr

Visible (breeder Zitna stud) by Zitnas Vento and his austrian rider Anna Kletzmayr participated successfully at the Upper Austrian pony show jumping championships (individuals) 2008 from 5.-7.9.08 in Steyr. Visible and Anna won a silver medal in the individual competition. In addition to the pony classes, Anna and her gelding Visible also won two open show jumping classes level A.

Visible und Anna Kletzmayr also joined the Pony Grand Prix tour for the first time in 2008.
They started at their frist Pony Grand Prix at the CSN-B event in Ebelsberg,18.-20.4.08, where they were placed on the 6th rank out of 12 participants.

At the Pony Grand Prix event in Farrach,Austria from 30.5.-1.6.08 Anna and Visible won the Pony Grand Prix qualification - a show jumping class for ponies level LM (22 participants) In Farrach,Austria from 30.5.-1.6.08 and achieved a 4th place in the small finals (level M**) in Farrach.

Dressage pony Servus (breeder Zitna stud) by Zitnas Senator

Servus and his new rider,Nina Portugal had only 6 weeks of training before they took part at the dressage event cat.A/B in Nettingsdorf (29.-30.8.08).

Servus and Nina achieved in an open dressage class level M (LPIV) place 5 out of 23 participants with 62,75% and another 5th place in an open dressage class level M (LPIII) with 61,16%.

Dressage pony Don Camillo (reared by Zitna stud) placed in dressage classes level M

Don Camillo -reared by Zitna stud- and Elena Rath won a silver medal at the ASVÖ Championships (Junior/Young Rider class) at the dressage competition cat.B in St.Margarethen,7.-8.6.2008.

At the dressage competition cat.A and B in Gleisdorf (11.-13.7.2008) Don Camillo and Elena achieved a number of placments in dressage competitions level M (1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place and 5th place) with marks over 66%.

Don Camillo and Elena are an experienced team and always compete very successfully against warmblood horses and senior riders. In 2006 Don Camillo and Elena became Austrian vice-champion in the pony dressage riders class together with their team.

Dressage ponies in Austria

Little Drummer Boy (by Zitnas Senator,breeder: Steinböck family,Austria) and his rider Stephanie Ullrich achieved placements at the first horseshow that took place in the new riding arena of the Austrian racetrack center Magna Racino in Ebreichsdorf. In the pony dressage class level A Little Drummer Boy and Stephanie Ullrich were placed on the 5th rank and in the pony dressage class level L they became 3rd.

At the dressage event in Königstetten,6.7.2008, Sir Cedric (by Zitnas Senator) and Anna Sophie Schallmayer (Reidinclub Kirchbach) achieved a 4th place in the VA1 and received the mark 6.5 in the dressage test A1.

At the dressage competition level B in Kapellerfeld ,26.-27.7.2008, Valedor (breeder Zitna stud, by Zitnas elite stallion Vento) and his young rider Valerie Pitkowitz were placed in an open dressage class level A with a mark of 7,4 .Furthermore the two achieved a 3rd and a 4th place in the pony dressage classes level A.

Nicola (reared by Zitna stud) and her 9 year old rider Lisa Schranz from the riding club Lassee became - together with the team of “Deeper Austria” - Austrian national show jumping champion in the team competition 2008. In addition they won another show jumping class level A an the show jumping event in Schärding where the championships took place.

Czech pony dressage championships 2008: Silver medal for Zitnas Panja (breeder Zitna stud)

The Czech pony championships took place in Frenstat (8.10.8.2998). Riding pony mare Zitnas Panja, breeder Zitna stud, and Anezka Zajicova became the vice-pony dressage champions of 2008.

Zitnas Panje belonged to the Zitna breeding stock for many years,she absolved an excellent mare performance test and is the mother of the state premium mare Zitnas Penelope.

Pony dressage championships in deeper Austria 2008

At the dressage championships in deeper Austria Don Joshi - reared by Zitna stud - and rider Alina Djaber Ansari finished on the 3rd place - in the championship classes they achieved a 2nd (mark 7.5) and a 5th place (mark 7,0). Furthermore they won a pony dressage class level A.

Negrino (breeeder: Zitna stud) by Zitnas elite stallion Negro and Alina Djaber Ansari achieved a 3rd place in a dressage test level A. In 2007 Negrino won a silver medal at the dressage championships in Upper Austria.

Puccini (breeder: Zitna stud) by Zitnas premium stallion Poker Boy and rider Theresa Schrefl took part at their first championships and achieved a 10th place in total.

Austrian federal dressage team championships for ponies 2008

Don Joshi (reared by Zitna stud) and Alina Djaber Ansari won a bronce medal with the Team NÖ1 at the championships. They achieved a 3rd and a 5th place in pony dressage test level L (marks up to 7.0).

Valedor (breeder Zitna stud) by Zitnas elite stallion Vento and rider Valentina Lamberg became 5th in the championships ranking with their team NÖ2.

Riding pony gelding Delmondo (reared by Zitna stud) and Julia Dorfer, Riding club Steyr, achieved at the dressage event cat.A and B in Steyr, 8.-10.8.2008, two placements in dressage tests level A

Delmondo and Julia are currently having their first year in ponysport. They also took part in show jumping classes in 2008.

Horse events in Netolice: Fox hunting (Schleppjagd)

Zitna stud is located next to the village of Netolice. Here you can see a few pictures taken on the foxhounting (Schleppjagd) in Spring 2008.
The hunting dogs are classical Foxhounds and belong to the Asbach Kennel in Bavaria.

Palomino riding pony stallion Zitnas Sir Golden (breeder Zitna stud) by Zitnas elite stallion Senator and a riding pony stallion (breeder Zitna stud) by Zitnas elite stallion Negro were both approved by the Austrian breeding association ÖZP.

“Top Ten of the Bavarian Sportponies 2007 “

In 2007 five riding ponies from Zitna achieved 6 placements in the Top Ten list of the must successful Bavarian Sportponies including a 2nd place in the discipline show jumping and another 2nd place in the discipline eventing.

In addition, offsprings of Zitna´s elite breeding stallion Vento (by Valentino) were placed in the TOP TEN of the dressage, show jumping and eventing ponies.

TOP TEN of the Bavarian dressage ponies 2007

8th place: Zitnas Dancer (approved for Westfalia and Bavaria)
Premium stallion Zitnas Dancer was approved by the German breeding associations in Westfalia and Bavaria, finished the stallion performance test in Westfalia on an excellent 4th place and participated at the German Federal Championships for dressage ponies in 2004 for Zitna stud. Zitnas Dancer was then sold to the Sultanow family. In 2007 he achieved a number of winnings and placements in dressage classes with his rider Alexa Sultanow and increased his life winning amount up to more than EUR 1800,- .

10th place: Vascino (breeder: Zitna stud) by Vento
Vascino and his rider Katja Köhr made it for the first time in the TOP TEN ranking. In 2007 Vascino and Katja were successful in dressage classes level A and L in Germany.

Vascino is a full-brother to Venturio (dressage level A to Pony FEI, show jumping level A to M in Austria) and a state premium mare Zitnas Red Fariy (winner of dressage pony cup 2005 in Bavaria).
