References and photos: Find out more about German riding ponies that origin from the Zitna stud´s breeding stock and bloodlines. Our breeding stock is based on the finest bloodlines that can be found in Northern Germany (Westfalia, Rheinland) and we strictly select our breeding horses in terms of character, health and performance since more than 15 years. Therefore we can now offer you ponies for sale out of mares and by stallions that were born and raised in Zitna themselves.  Zitna stud farm is locating in the Bavarian/Bohemian forest and takes part in the breeding programm of the recognised Bavarian breeding association for ponies. Riding ponies from Zitna stud achieved success in the field of ponysport and horsebreeding in Germany and abroad. A number of riding stallions breed and /or raised at Zitna stud were licensed in Germany (Westfalia,Bavaria,South German Breeding associations), Austria,Italy, the Czech republic and Slowakia. 11 bavarian state premium mares and many premium foals were born in Zitna. Zitna ponies belonged to the Top Ten ranking of the most successful Bavarian sportponies in the last couple of years as well as to the official Bavarian pony elite team in the disciplines dressage, eventing and show jumping in 2008 and 2009.
